Sprinkled With Pink is on the hunt for a motivated self-driven individual who’s looking to grow with our company! SWP is a dynamic and rapidly growing custom products business specializing in vinyl, screenprinting and embroidery. We have been in business for 6 years, have seen significant growth each year and have been featured in publications including Oprah Magazine, People, Southern Living. On the corporate side of our business, we take pride in providing high-quality branded products including employee gifts, events, client gifts, and retail merchandise.
As a small but ambitious company, we are seeking a self-driven and motivated Business Development Manager who will strategically lead the business into its new level of growth. We have built all of our business-to-business clients through solely referrals and word of mouth over the years - relying on our impeccable quality, trendy products and amazing relationship building for these high-profile clients. This position will begin outreach into this large untapped market of opportunity.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Experienced sales person - dazzling customers and exceeding their expectations. Prepared to do cold outreach, we need an entrepreneurial minded person
- Emotional intelligence - ability to build and nurture strong client relationships, understand client needs, and effectively navigate negotiations and conflicts.
- Goal oriented - driven by setting and hitting sales targets while ensuring that the company maintains its required profit margins.
- Deadline and task obsessed - able to juggle multiple priorities/ client orders to always meet deadlines and customer demands.
- Detail oriented - there are a lot of moving parts to this business thus you must ensure projects are completed to the exact specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop New Business Opportunities:
- Create and execute a strategic plan to acquire new business accounts.
- Strategic mindset to identify low hanging fruit, strategic opportunities and finding partners that are worth your time
- Research and analyze market trends to stay ahead of industry needs.
Achieve Sales Goals and Maintain Margins:
- Goal oriented - driven by setting and hitting sales targets while ensuring that the company maintains its required profit margins.
- Prepare and present competitive pricing proposals to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
Build and Foster Relationships:
- Develop strong and lasting relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and understanding their unique needs.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure clients' expectations are met and exceeded.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using our CRM system.
- Regularly analyze sales data and market trends to refine sales strategies.
Multi-Hat Mentality:
- As a key member of our small team, you may be required to perform various tasks outside of your primary role, contributing to the success of the business in other areas.
SKILLS:
- Proven sales experience, preferably within the promotional products industry
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of screenprinting and embroidery processes is a plus.
- Good project management skills, including significant decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- 2-4 year degree in Business, Marketing or related field is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Solutions oriented mindset
- Computer savvy skills and be comfortable using MS Excel
